Mr. Oubre has been admitted to the Louisiana State Bar since 1997 and he has practiced in the fields of products liability, toxic tort litigation, and insurance coverage counseling and defense since that time. Mr. Oubre is licensed to practice before all Louisiana State Courts as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

After attending East Saint John High School, where he graduated valedictorian, Mr. Oubre received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government graduating magna cum laude from Nicholls State University in 1985. After eight years working in classical radio and with the United States Department of the Treasury, Mr. Oubre attended Loyola University School of Law where he graduated with Moot Court Honors and in the top 10% of his class in 1997. Mr. Oubre has acted and sung in various community theatre productions as well as at Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre. He enjoys spending time with his family and watching his children compete in baseball and cross country.
