Ms. Mercuri, an associate at the firm, was born in New Orleans, Louisiana.  She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science, summa cum laude.  

She received her Juris Doctor degree in 2013 from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law.  Ms. Mercuri graduated magna cum laude and was honored as a William S. Crowe, Sr. Scholar for graduating in the top 10 percent of her class.  While at Loyola, she was a member of the Loyola Law Review and the brief writer for the 2012 Tulane Mardi Gras Invitational Moot Court Team.  She also received Law Excellence Awards in Property I & II, Contracts, Obligations, Comparative Dispute Resolution, Community Property, Sales and Leases, Louisiana Code of Civil Procedure, and International Trade Law.
